Chatsworth Cheshire Home
The Chatsworth Home opened in 1971 and is situated at 10 Equality Avenue, Croftdene, Chatsworth, Durban. It provides residential care for 35 adults with physical and sensory disabilities (Mainly wheelchair users). Residents are referred to us by the Department of Social Development, families who cannot cope and hospitals. We provide basic medical care, bathing, feeding, hospital visits, recreational activities, skills development programmes, social work services, physiotherapy, job placement and spirituality programmes to residents.
Cheshire Village for Independent Living
The Cheshire Village for Independent Living is also situated at 10 Equality Avenue, Croftdene, Chatsworth, Durban. It currently provides independent living facilities to 14 adults with various degrees of disabilities.
